About the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic)
The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) oversees the eight faculties and
Humanities Program at QUT. He is also chair of University Academic Board and is responsible for oversight
of the Oodgeroo Unit. The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) works in particular with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Commercialisation) and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Teaching Quality) in relation to the research and teaching functions of the University and normally acts for the Vice-Chancellor in the Vice-Chancellor's absence.
