About the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Teaching Quality)
The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Teaching Quality) is responsible for leading improvements in teaching and learning quality. As sponsor of the Learning and Teaching Plan, in conjunction with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Teaching Quality) implements strategies to improve QUT's whole of university position in measures of teaching quality and ensuring curriculum quality processes. The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Teaching Quality) is Chair of Teaching and Learning Committee, has management responsibility for the Academic Policy and Programs Unit (APPU) ; oversees the Teaching and Learning Grants (Large and Small) schemes and has academic oversight of Carrick schemes.
